Harrogate History Festival 2015

Harrogate International Festivals, in partnership with All About History and History of War, are inviting you to join them for this fantastic opportunity to explore and grapple with leading literary minds on some of the most gripping conflicts, personalities and epic tales of human history. Back for a third year, the 2015 Harrogate History Festival will take place from 22-25 October, returning to the Old Swan Hotel, itself steeped in its own rich history.

The team behind the world-famous Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival will once again be celebrating the authors and genre of historical fiction and non-fiction, bringing you a thrilling weekend of events where you can delve into the characters, intrigues and stories that stood the test of time to become the stuff of history books. This year’s History Festival will feature some of the giants of the genre, with Special Guests including Tracy Borman, Lord Melvyn Bragg, Ken Follett, Michael Morpurgo, Kate Mosse, Neil Oliver and HRH Princess Michael of Kent.
