The Bombing 2018 Exclusive UK Poster Reveal for Bruce Willis World War 2 Film

Inspired by the little-known true story of the Bombing of Chongqing by the Empire of Japan, The Bombing stars screen legends Bruce Willis (Die Hard, The Expendables) and Adrien Brody (The Pianist) in an incredible tale of honour and immense bravery against the backdrop of World War II.

This pulse-pounding war epic centres around the courage of ordinary Chinese citizens during the terror bombing of the Republic of China’s capital, which claimed the lives of over 10,000 innocent people between 18 February 1938 to 23 August 1943. The Chinese defenders found themselves almost totally outclassed and outgunned by the Japanese Zero fighter which quickly depleted their US-made planes and veteran pilots.

In The Bombing as US Air Force commander Jack Johnson (Willis) trains the Chinese aviators to battle Japanese fighters, a hot-headed pilot begs to fly a powerful bomber that could stop the attacks. Meanwhile, a team of spies and refugees must carry a game-changing decoder device through the war-torn countryside.

Signature Entertainment releases The Bombing on DVD & Digital HD on 29th October and History of War is delighted to reveal the UK artwork exclusively on HistoryAnswers.co.uk:
