As part of the centenary year of the outbreak of World War One, it was reported yesterday that diaries from soldiers of the war are now being published online for the first time. With stories of struggle, hardship and even some of leisure activities, more than 1.5 million pages are available for anybody to see and read accounts of what life was like for soldiers in the outbreak of the war, right up until the final days. It makes for some fascinating reading and is well worth a look. History of War will stay on top of the latest military and war news stories, and discuss them here so if you have any comments or questions, please get in touch.
