Museum Of London Docklands, is reflecting on 700 years of public punishment in London with a brand new exhibition entitled Executions. Bringing together rarely told stories and artefacts, you can find out what London was known as the ‘City of Gallows’ for so many years.

To accompany the exhibition there is also a new book being released entitled Executions: 700 years of public punishment in London, edited by Jackie Keily. It’s a fantastic new book in its own right and well worth checking out.
